The next day when I woke up it was Sunny, sunny, sunny. This is the second time in 1 month that I've woken up to a sunny morning. Here the weather is overcast, some times for days on end, but on days that we're lucky the sun will come out around 12:00ish then it'll stay till 5 and goes back into 'overcast' mode. But yesterday was clear ALL day and even through the night!! YAY! I saw 6 stars last night.:D how many did you see?
For breakfast we had pringles and a tub of chocochip icecream (that Lara had kindly bought for us the night b4) then we went to the beach. Usually, like for G.O. or free-day, we'll walk to this huge park/shopping place that has a really great view of the beach but no road or path to get down there. like this photo here. This was the first time for me to actually go to the beach.
The beach is all rocky so its not the best good for swimming but its no problem for surfing.(There were lots of surfer dudes there Seiko.) People do swim there though, they just wear shoes of some sort.It's still to cold to swim so we brought the guitar along to have something to do besides the typical 'drooling over all the hotties who are crazy enough to be out in the cold water.' We stayed a couple of hours at the beach singing, talking, starring at guys, throwing rocks,soaking up the sun and just generally enjoying life. All was good and well till I broke my sunglasses. Yup, those sunglasses I bought just b4 coming here, I broke them...sure did. Elbowed them right in the nose. Kuuurunch. A sad ending to an otherwise happy day.
But anyway, now I'm looking forward to learn how to surf. I have someone who is going to teach me how to once summer comes around.Yay!
